| | | 500 400 | 350 250 | 150 150 | | | The Elephant Show takes places on every afternoon between 14.30 to 16.00 hours. In this show, we aim to present some of the aspects of the lives of a working elephant, both in the jungle and in high mountainous terrain. We have made every attempt to keep the show truly authentic.
The show begins with a display of essential animal hygiene, in which the elephant masters demonstrate the bathing techniques of their charges in the local pond. It is followed by a demonstration of training methods used by the masters for elephants who are employed in timber and construction work.
These demonstrations will be followed by the re‑enactment of an ancient ceremony, which was performed by teams of masters, prior to going into the jungle to conduct an elephant round up. Sadly, with diminishing elephant numbers in the wild and the loss of jungle and forest habitat, this ceremony is no longer performed with its former frequency.
The show concludes with the performance of Glong Sabad Chai. This is a very old ceremony, in which the masters dress in old style military uniforms and accompany a war elephant dressed in traditional style. Visitors will have an opportunity to take short rides on the elephants, both during the show and at its end. On the first occasion, they will be able to ride like an elephant master on the neck of the animal; on the second occasion, at the end of the show; they will be seated in the traditional riding chair, which is strapped to the elephant's back.
The show will be compared by a highly qualified member of our staff, who speaks fluent English, and who will be pleased to answer visitors questions. Visitors will be able to take advantage of a number of "banana" breaks, which will allow them to make contact with and feed bananas to the elephants. These breaks also provide excellent photographic opportunities.

| | | 1700 1200 | 1000 850 | 700 350 | | From sea level to the mountain top, this is a great Safari Tour. The safari sets out on elephant back, into the jungle and up to the base of Samui’s most beautiful waterfall.
Energetic safari participants may opt for joining a memorable Jungle Walk through the tropical forest and to the top of the fall. Please wear non-slip shoes.
Then, for everybody’s enjoyment, a jeep will make the 600 meter climb to the Mountain Viewpoint, where the panorama is spectacular beyond words: Lush green hills, coconut forests, paddy fields, golden beaches and a sapphire blue ocean as far as you can see.
Another fascinating place is just around the corner: Buddha’s Magic Garden, where a local farmer, Uncle (Ta) Nim, sculpted numerous Buddhist statues in a granite ravine.
Back at the base camp, the Monkey Show is awaiting us. Cheery, little creatures entertain their human guests with tricks and stunts. Watch how swiftly they climb up a coconut tree, twist off some delicious fruit and deliver it via Luftpost. Guaranteed it will be the freshest coconut you’ve ever tasted.
After a change of vehicles the safari continues by traditional buffalo cart through the paddy fields of an authentic rice farm.
The next stop is at the Thai Farming Museum. This museum presents unique exhibitions and inter-active demonstrations of the farm life and work in Thailand. In a short, popular lesson you will even discover the family recipe and technique of making papaya salad or "Somtam".
Finally and well deserved, the safari tour concludes with a hearty Thai meal, which will be dished up at an idyllic seaside restaurant.
